Assignment: Resume Revision Video with Mbongi Reflection
Overview:
In this assignment, you will create a video presentation that documents how you revised your resume based on a specific job. You will first show an ACTUAL job that you may be interested in. Then you will show a clear side-by-side comparison of your original draft and your new, revised version. This project asks you to not only demonstrate your professional growth but also apply concepts from our Mbongi framework to explain your choices.

- Display both your the potential job, the original resume, and your revised resume in a side-by-side format.
- Clearly highlight the changes you made (formatting, word choice, organization, additions, or removals).
- Mbongi Application
- Use two items from each Mbongi list (total: six items minimum).
- For each, explain how that item influenced your revisions. Example: “I used [term] from Mbongi List [name of list] because …”
- Cite your sources verbally in your video and also in a short reference slide at the end of your presentation (APA format).
- Also show the ACTUAL source on the screen and detail why you think it is a credible source.

- Conclude your video by reflecting on what you have learned in this class so far.
