Welcome to The School of Unlearning
Mbongi: A Congolese word that means learning circle or
room with no walls
Overview
My curriculums are designed to deepen students’ skills in critical thinking by integrating relevant social, political, and environmental issues. Through a student-centered approach, it encourages critical analysis, active engagement, and intellectual curiosity. Students will explore a diverse range of materials, theories, and concepts to bridge academic learning with real-world application. A key focus will be creating a collaborative learning environment that values Mbongi—a philosophy of shared growth and discourse.
Warning: You may experience discomfort as you are doing research. Some of the things you thought were true may return as a lie you’ve always believed. Unlearning is a process of productive struggle. You will not be harmed.
